About the Artist

I’ve always been fasinated with the human form. The first time I saw the life casting art I was hooked.

The next few years were spent researching and perfecting the process. Friends and family became my test subjects. My son and wife were not excluded. (Well o.k. I had to pay them, but fortunately they work for cheap pay!!).

About Life Casting

A life casting — also called a body casting or body sculpture —  is a detailed impression of a part of your body. A mold is made which is then cast in plaster or other material to make a lifelike, life-size, realistic sculpture.

A life cast can be made from any part of the body:  face; belly; chest; back; hands; feet; or any other part of your body… even your entire body.

It can include elements of clothing or not. That’s completely your preference.
